Fees

Below are the details regarding fees, funding and payment for our clinic. For any further enquiries regarding fees and services, please feel free to contact us via the contact page or the email provided at the bottom of the website.

How do I get an appointment?

You will need a referral from a doctor if you would like Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Medicare rebates. Otherwise, a paediatrician referral is needed for Neurodevelopmental Disorders Medicare rebates.

Once you have a referral, contact the clinic and we will begin the intake process.

What about Medicare? Which item do I use?

Please tell us you have a Medicare referral from your doctor when you book your appointment and provide us a copy via email. For speech therapy, the Medicare items to use will depend on your referral:

  • CDM - 10970

  • Complex Neurodevelopmental Disorders and eligible disabilities - 82020

What if I have private health insurance?

The QT Speech Therapy and Learning Centre is recognised by most private health funds. Please consult your private health insurance to determine eligibility and rebate amount.

NDIS

The QT Speech Therapy and Learning Centre is a registered NDIS provider. We accept clients who are:

  • NDIA managed;

  • Plan managed; and

  • Self managed.

Do I need to pay?

You will need to pay the full fee upfront and the clinic will provide you a receipt can claim back from Medicare.

You can receive $60.35 rebate for each session for CDM items and $85.20 for each session for Complex Neurodevelopmental Disorders items.

How much will I actually need to pay upfront?

Our clinic uses the NDIS guidelines to determine the fees for our provided services. Therefore, the amount you will pay will depend on the service (one-on-one speech therapy, one-on-one with a therapy assistant or group therapy). Feel free to get in touch through the contact page if you would like to enquire about your prospective fee.
