Your Role
We’re seeking a compassionate and adaptable Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team. This role offers the chance to provide client-centred therapy to children and adults living with disability. You will work collaboratively with families, support networks, and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities
- Service Delivery: Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to paediatric and adult clients.
- Goal Implementation: Assess, plan, and implement therapy goals that promote independence and participation.
- Caseload Management: Manage a caseload independently while receiving ongoing supervision and team support.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, families, and stakeholders.
- Documentation: Maintain clinical documentation in line with professional standards.
- Community Work: Travel to client homes, schools, and community settings as required.

Requirements

Applicants considered for the role will have:

  • A degree in Speech Pathology as recognised by SPAA.

  • Undergraduate clinical experience in providing client/family-centred speech pathology services.

  • A current NSW Driver’s Licence (P2 licence acceptable).

  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication and time management skills.

  • An understanding of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) and the ability to apply it in a clinical setting.


Prior knowledge and experience of speech pathology assessment and managing CALD populations, fluency in additional languages, and familiarity with various service delivery approaches will be highly regarded but is not required for the role.
